El pasado 1 de marzo, Mos Teatre tuvo el placer de participar y coordinar unas lecturas dramatizadas para la semana de la mujer en Catarroja con el título de «No me llames muñeca«. Fue un placer tener la oportunidad de mostrar el talento emergente de los valientes alumnos del taller de teatro municipal que se animaron a participar.
Gracias a los alumnos Felisa Casañ, Sergio Malonda, Amalia Olivares y Sandra Suárez por su talento y a Amparo Muñoz por su apoyo y gestión.
Os dejamos uno de los textos que leímos en el evento: El legendario monólogo de «Casa de Muñecas» de Ibsen.
Siéntate; esto va a ser largo. Tengo mucho que decirte.
Es eso realmente lo que pasa: no me comprendes. Y yo nunca te he comprendido tampoco… hasta esta noche. No, no me interrumpas. Vas a escuchar todo lo que yo te diga… vamos a ajustar nuestras cuentas, Torvald.
Estamos aquí sentados uno frente a otro. ¿No te extraña? Llevamos ocho años de casados ¿No te percatas de que hoy es la primera vez que tú yo, marido y mujer, hablamos con seriedad? Desde que nos conocimos no hemos tenido una sola conversación seria, nunca hemos intentado llegar juntos al fondo de las cosas.
Se han cometido muchos errores conmigo Torvald. Primeramente por parte de mi padre y luego, por parte tuya. Nunca me quisisteis. Os resultaba divertido encapricharos por mí, nada más. Cuando vivía papá, él me manifestaba todas sus ideas, y yo las seguía. Si tenía otras diferentes, me guardaba muy bien de decirlo, porque no le habría gustado. Me llamaba su muñequita y jugaba conmigo, ni más ni menos como yo con mis muñecas. Después vine a esta casa contigo… Quiero decir que pasé de manos de papá a las tuyas. Tú me formaste a tu gusto y yo participaba de él… o lo fingía… no lo sé con exactitud, quizás lo uno y lo otro. Cuando miro hacia atrás me parece que he vivido aquí como una pobre… al día. Vivía de hacer piruetas para divertirte, Torvald. Como tú querías.
Creí ser feliz aquí, pero solo estaba alegre y eso es todo. Eras tan bueno conmigo… Pero nuestro hogar no ha sido más que un cuarto de recreo. He sido una muñeca grande en esta casa, como fui muñeca en casa de papá. Y a su vez los niños han sido mis muñecos. Me divertía que jugaras conmigo, como a los niños verme jugar con ellos. He aquí lo que ha sido nuestro matrimonio. Tenías razón hace un momento, aunque fuera producto de tu excitación, cuando me dijiste que no podía educar a los niños, es una labor superior a mis fuerzas, hay otra de la que debo ocuparme antes. Debo procurar educarme a mí misma. Tú no eres capaz de ayudarme en esta tarea. Para ello necesito estar sola. Y por esa razón voy a dejarte. Necesito estar sola para orientarme sobre mí misma y sobre lo que me rodea. No puedo quedarme más contigo, mañana salgo para mi tierra, allí me será más fácil encontrar un empleo.
¿Que ante todo soy esposa y madre? Ya no creo en eso, creo que ante todo soy un ser humano, igual que tú… o al menos, debo intentar serlo y tengo otros deberes no menos sagrados conmigo misma. Sé que la mayoría de los hombres te darán la razón y que algo así está escrito en los libros y lo dice la religión y las leyes, pero ahora quiero tratar de comprender por mí misma a quién asiste la razón, si a la sociedad o a mí.
Lo lamento Torvald, porque siempre has sido bueno conmigo… pero no lo puedo remediar, ya no te amo. He esperado durante ocho años con paciencia por un milagro.
Si piensas que pido demasiado, que no hay quien sacrifique su honor por el ser amado, déjame decirte que lo han hecho millares de mujeres.
Pero tú no piensas ni hablas como el hombre a quien yo pueda unirme. Cuando te has repuesto del primer sobresalto, no por el peligro que me amenazaba, sino por el riesgo que corrías tú; cuando ha pasado todo, era para ti como si no hubiese ocurrido nada. Volví a ser tu alondra, tu muñequita, a la que tenías que llevar con mano más suave aún, ya que había demostrado ser tan frágil y endeble… en ese mismo instante me he dado cuenta que había vivido ocho años con un extraño… tal como soy ahora, no puedo ser una esposa para ti.
